Out of Hours & Crisis Support

The Clinical Psychology Collective (CPC) is not an emergency service and therefore unfortunately does not have the facility to offer crisis or emergency help.

As an online clinic based in Edinburgh, we have provided local and nationwide service details, many which offer a crisis service or are available 24 hours a day.

Note: These lists are not exhaustive. Should you wish for further resources please speak with your GP or speak to any current health worker you are involved with. You can also use Google or any other search engine to search for relevant local services, or further national helplines.

In an Emergency

IF YOU OR SOMEBODY YOU CARE FOR IS IN IMMEDIATE OR LIFE-THREATENING DANGER, ALWAYS CALL 999 AND REQUEST ASSISTANCE. IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE UK, CONTACT YOUR COUNTRIES EMERGENCY SERVICES.

Confused or Distressed

If you are experiencing confusing or distressing thoughts, or if people around you have expressed concern about your wellbeing, arrange an appointment with your GP or call NHS 24 (National telehealth and telecare):
